THE BOSS IS BACK

- Text DANIELA MARTINEZ

BMW continues to assert its dominance in a category it has led for 20 years

When BMW first launched the then-new Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) category two decades ago, the pioneering brand brought a new definition of luxury vehicle design to the motoring industry. A reliable high-performance automobile on rough ground with astounding off-road qualities, crafted with BMW’s sophistication and signature dynamics, BMW X5 elevated the game. The first of its kind, it started the legacy of the BMW X5 model family, and from then on became a market leader in the premium all-wheel drive segment. As BMW X5’s fourth iteration, the latest model adheres to the premium characteristics that has made the line well-known and well-loved—versatility, sovereignty, and luxury. The BMW X5 xDrive30d xLine is the sole variant of the brand new model. While it stays true to the trademark dimensions of an SAV, it comes with new attributes, clean surfacing and precise lines that emphasize the car’s robustness, poise, and authority. Space is also prioritized in the engineering and design of the model. The instrument panel and center console are made with a clear structure, further enhancing the feeling of space.

The all-new BMW X5 is being launched with one diesel representative from the latest generation of engines. A six-cylinder in-line unit can also be found under the bonnet of the BMW X5 xDrive30d xLine. An eight-speed Steptronic transmission harnesses the award-winning BMW TwinPower Turbo technology of the vehicle’s engine. Guaranteeing that power is translated into secure progress on or off road, the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive makes driving easier for the man (or woman) at the wheel.

Bringing a new breed of grandeur, the BMW X5 xDrive30d xLine is definitely an upgrade—empowering its passengers with comfort and ease, high-performance innovation, and a welcome opportunity to unleash wilder adventures.
