A LOOP OF FASHION AND DESIGN
Operated by Noble House Distribution Enterprise INC, the first CUL-DE-SAC boutique in the Philippines has finally opened its doors to the public after a grand launch. The store merges the three multi-brand concepts of Noble House: Distinqt, Xception and Akimbo.
The space’s layout takes its name from the boutique. Cul-de-Sac means a road with only one entry and exit point, a never-ending loop of road. As guests enter the 430-square-meter concept store, they are greeted with a never-ending circular route, with shoppers finding that the store is the end destination in itself.
The industrial aesthetic of the store feature brushed steel facades and works of art like The Skate Room collaboration with Jean
Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol, making an unforgettable retail experience. High-end contemporary brands like MSGM, Versus Versace, and Tibi, along with streetwear favorites GCDS, Opening Ceremony, and Han Kjobenhavn provide pleasant jolts to the eye. Home and design pieces from Normann Copenhagen, Vipp, Image Republic, Assouline, and Renova are tempting buys for those excited to design their space.
The highlight of the grand launch is the introduction of the MM6 Maison Margiela SS’19 Studio Collection, which celebrates the 25th year of Maison Martin Margiela’s work as an active benefactor of AIDES, an organization devoted to fighting HIV and improving AIDS awareness. Twenty-five years ago, eponymous brand designer Martin Margiela designed a shirt in support of disease awareness, and the slogan is a big part of the MM6 Maison Margiela Studio Collection for Spring/Summer ’19.
A sizeable portion of CUL-DE-SAC’s total sales for May 16 to June 16 will be donated to Love Yourself Philippines, a non-profit organization that focuses on HIV awareness and testing in the Philippines. Art by Ciane Xavier will be displayed in the store for everyone to see during the duration of the donation period.
