Lifestyle Asia celebrates a successful July issue with cover personality Camille Villar
In a room filled with industry leaders and entrepreneurs, RSVP Lifestyle Asia celebrated the success of the magazine’s July 2019 issue. Cover personality Camille Villar and husband Erwin Genuino, together with other influential people, graced the event. It was a wonderful afternoon that honored the remarkable work of these people in their respective industries.
Important guests such as Dr. Z and Aivee Teo, Rajo Laurel, Chucho and Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez, Cat Arambulo-Antonio, and Tina Cuevas graced an intimate luncheon held at Wolfgang Steakhouse in Bonifacio Global City. The elegant space was filled with a cheerful ambiance from the pleasant conversations shared among the honored guests.
In his welcoming remarks, Lifestyle Asia’s Editor in Chief Dong Ronquillo thanked the guests for attending the event. He talked about how working on the July Issue has been fruitful for the people who were featured and for the LA team as well. The July issue highlighted the exceptional work of different industry leaders. As visionaries in their
own right, they continue to leave a wonderful legacy growing their businesses and family enterprises. Among these inspiring people is Camille Villar. Dong shared that in spite of her status as the Managing Director of Vista Land Commercial, Camille remains down to earth. Through the valuable lessons her parents imparted to her, Camille learned to be passionate and committed as a leader. Most of all, she realized that a meaningful life is about creating a positive impact on people. All these reasons made Camille the ideal cover girl for the Business Issue.
For her speech, Camille emphasized how honored she was to be the cover personality. With a smile, she extended her gratitude for the opportunity to share the growing legacy of their family business. She was truly thrilled to celebrate the success of the magazine with friends and fellow guests.
Over lunch, the guests sat comfortably around the elegant tablescape of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse. Atop these are centerpieces of fresh rose blooms of Il Fiore Flower Boutique. The roses added a pop of color to the pristine table arrangement. Elevating the sophisticated experience are accents such as votive glasses with tea light candles. C&L
Decor’s hedges beside the tables offered a refreshing contrast against the dark oak interiors of the room. At the back is a well-decorated space where guests can take their vignette shots. The simple yet beautiful decor set the mood of the guests for the lovely lunch Wolfgang prepared.
Wolfgang Steakhouse served a 5-course meal. Lunch started with Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Wolfgang’s Crab Cake, and Sizzling Canadian Bacon. For the main course, guests indulged in the USDA Prime Dry-Aged Porter House Steak. For those who craved seafood, Grilled Salmon paired with fresh greens was served. Guests were given the option to choose among sides like Creamed Spinach, Mashed Potato, and Steamed Broccoli. The scrumptious dishes filled the guests—but everyone made sure to save some room for dessert. Luscious and decadent treats, the New York-style Cheesecake and Chocolate
Mousse Cake provided the sweet ending to a wonderful meal. And to accompany the variety of these flavors, premium red and white bottles of wine were provided of Titania Wines. Those who shied away from the liquor had their choice of coffee or tea.
After everyone indulged in Wolfgang’s delectable courses, guests continued to engage in witty and earnest conversations. RSVP Lifestyle Asia was certainly a lovely afternoon for celebrating the shared hard work of the Lifestyle Asia team and the illustrious personalities that grace the pages of the magazine. The midday affair also acknowledged how the gathering of industry leaders and powerful people build and strengthen relationships.
