RED WITH PASSION
The lavish floral arrangements of Robert Blancaflor and the rest of the tablescapes delighted the guests. The tall crimson candles and the golden accents of the tables and chairs added a stylish flair. To turn the venue into a gorgeous, charming space, hundreds of glimmering lights were hung from above like fireflies. Yet the main highlights were the lush bouquets of red and pink roses, the favorite flowers of Cris. The blooms gave a splendid contrast against the dark backdrop of the room. These red hues reflected the strength and passion of Cris and Tina for their respective industries.
As the CEO and owner of FILA Philippines, Cris continues to show her unrivaled commitment to her business. From an enterprise, she grew it into a powerful empire in the fashion industry. Recently, FILA released a limited edition Disruptor 2 that first debuted at the Milan Fashion Week. During the launch, Cris encouraged friends, style enthusiasts, and guests who attended to believe in themselves and to fight for equal opportunities. As a self-proclaimed maximalist, Tina sits down with her team and plans for Instagram-worthy concepts and tablescapes for social gatherings. As a result of her dedication, family and friends always describe her parties as opulent and unforgettable. Through her gettogethers, Tina ensures that everyone who attends her parties a great time, from the food to the set of people invited.
A LOVELY DINNER
To serenade the women of the hour, theater actress and singer Cris Villonco sang popular songs from the '70s and the '90s. The enchanting voice of Cris singing At Last and Hopelessly Devoted to You filled the entire room with a soothing ambiance. Manila String Machine arranged the medley for the guests to enjoy and even sing along with. Music certainly added a lively atmosphere as friends enjoyed spirited conversations with one another; all this on top of delightful and scrumptious food.
When the two-tier birthday cakes were presented, guests were filled with awe at its bold red and pink colors. It matched the shades of the roses, a representation of the Cris and Tina's passion.
They both blew the candles at the same time, and everyone cheered. It marked the highlight of the night, along with the uplifting speeches of some of the guests like Tim Yap to the birthday celebrants. Butch Albert, the husband of Cris, also gave a heartwarming speech.
