Gadgets offered to Globe Telecom’s ‘Project 1 Phone’ advocates

-

Advocates of Globe Telecom’s Project 1 Phone electronic waste recycling campaign will get a chance to win an iPad Air that will be raffled every month.

The raffle is open to all Globe and TM prepaid and postpaid subscribers nationwide. To join the promo and get the unique code, Globe and TM customers should present the old mobile phone with battery to the on-duty security guard at participating partner establishment and drop it off at the designated cell phone recycling bin. One old mobile phone with battery is equivalent to one raffle ticket with one unique code.

Participants should then register and text the unique code to 2948 using the following syntax: RECYCLE code/name/age/address. (Ex. Recycle ABC123/Juan dela Cruz/23/14-B Real St. Makati City). The sender will receive a confirmation code containing the status of the registration. Only one name can be registered per SIM card. Registration and entry submission cost 2.50 for Globe or TM users.

For sending additional entries, a participant can text RECYCLE <unique code> and send it to 2948 (Ex. RECYCLE DEF456).

Participating Globe stores are listed at www.globe.com.ph/project1phone.

Project 1 Phone aims to recover and recycle e- wastes, specifically mobile phones and portable devices as well as their chargers and batteries, to promote proper disposal and to educate the people about the benefits of recycling. Proceeds from the program will be added to the funds for 40 schools which Globe is building in Aklan to serve schoolchildren displaced by Typhoon Haiyan last year.
