Garin cautioned on DOH mess comments

Justice Secretary Leila de Lima has cautioned acting Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Janette Garin and other health officials from commenting on the alleged anomalous procurement of over 800-million worth of anti-pneumonia vaccine by the agency in 2012.

In order not to muddle the on-going investigation being conducted by the NBI on the questionable purchases of pneumoccocal conjugate vaccine (PCV 10) in 2012, De Lima advised Garin and other health officials to keep quiet on the issue and instead submit themselves to the bureau probe.
