New PNP director for Cavite

CAMP GEN. GARCIA, Imus, Cavite — The Philippine National Police (PNP) formally designated yesterday a new police commander for this province most populous province in the country.

Senior Superinten­dent Jonnel Cabrillos Estomo replaced Sr. Supt. Joselito Teodoro Esquivel Jr. at a simple ceremony, led by Chief Supt. Edwin Tapay Erni, Police Regional Office 4-A deputy director for administra­tion, in this camp.

Estomo is a virtual unknown in Cavite as it was the first time that he was assigned to the province. He was designated to the position as officer-incharge (OIC).

A Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class ’92 member, Estomo had been assigned to various positions, the latest of which was as Police Regional Office 1 Comptrolle­r Division (R-6) chief and deputy officer of Criminal Investigat­ion and Detection Group-National Capital Region (CIDG-NCR) and other CIDG offices in some provinces.
