DAVAO CITY – The Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCCI) stages the International Banana Symposium and the Davao Trade Expo 2014 (DATE 2014) from Nov. 19 to 22 which is expected to be attended by world traders, scientists and business experts at the SMX Convention Center in SM Lanang here. “Banana traders from all over the world have confirmed their participation to this year’s Davao Trade Expo 2014 and the International Banana symposium,” Luciano Frederick Puyod, chairperson of DATE 2014, said. Aside from the DCCCI, the double event is also being worked out by the Mindanao Banana Farmers and Exporters Association (MBFEA) and the Pilipino Banana Growers and Exporters Association (PBGEA), Puyod added.
