Tabuena 8 shots behind

Miguel Tabuena fired an even par 72 and comfortably made the cut at the Chiangmai Golf Classic but he was eight shots behind the leader after two rounds.

Tabuena shot 2 under in the first round and has a two-round total of 142 and tied for 22nd spot. Tournament leader Thanyakon Khrongpha shot 65 and was at 134, 10 under par at the Alpine Golf Resort in Chiangmai, Thailand.

Antonio Lascuna shot 74 and missed the cut by one stroke with his two-day sum of 146. Also missing the cut was Elmer Salvador (76-77—153) while Jay Bayron (74-70—144) advanced to the weekend play at even par for the tournament
