Farm caretaker slain by fellow worker

CAMP JUAN, Ilocos Norte — A misunderstanding between two farm caretakers turned fatal, resulting in one fatality Thursday evening in Barangay San Agustin, San Nicolas town.

Police identified the victim as Elchris Domingo, 32, who was hacked to death by Richard Realo, 26.

The victim sustained several hack wounds and expired before even being transported to an emer- gency healthcare facility.

Initial investigation showed that prior to the incident, both men were engaged in a heated argument,

Police said the suspect voluntarily surrendered after the incident. Further investigation will be conducted to determine the motive behind the crime. (Freddie G. Lazaro)
