Award-winning performance
Dashing Performer (DP) has been portraying intelligent characters in several hit dramas. He does it only too convincingly that many think he is as insightful as the characters he plays. Major Talent ( MT) thought so too, until she got to interview DP for her program.
At the set, MT’s assistant presented to DP’s representative the list of questions he is going to be asked in the interview. The staff said they wanted to get a glimpse of the kind of life DP has behind the camera. She was baffled, however, when the representative asked her to provide answers to the questions. The staff asked why, and the representative promptly explained that DP was too tired to think since he’s been preparing for a big-scene for his teleserye.
MT was eventually told about the issue. Though as confused as her staff, she simply agreed to the setup. When the camera started rolling, it was when she realized how good an actor DP is. He took to the teleprompter effortlessly. In fact, he was only too convincing with his answers – it was as if he actually thought of them.
As impressed as she was of DP’s acting prowess, MT was disappointed that his supposed intelligence was all but an act.

Ah, to be used and abused. As widespread as it is in the dog-eat-dog world that is show business, it is quite surprising that many still fall prey to it – just like Snooty Actress (SA).
Not long ago, SA was making sweet music with Colorful Actor ( CA). SA loved CA so much that she was willing to do anything and everything he asked. It wasn’t long, however, before SA woke up from the love-induced stupor and quickly dumped CA.
A big reason for the change of heart is CA’s supposed sexual appetite. Apparently, CA is so demanding that even with their tight schedules, he would often request for them to meet. He labeled it their much-needed “quality time.”
SA admitted that she tried to please CA to the utmost but he was insatiable. She complained about how CA would go as far as to insist himself on her even if she didn’t feel like it.
It dawned on her that CA was only about his enjoyment and happiness. She decided to call it quits when CA was reported to have been doing the same with several other women. Indeed, nothing based on lust ever lasts.
