Kuh is thankful for the chance to work with her former group, composed of Jett Montelibano, Fe de los Reyes, Eva Caparas, Angeli Pangilinan, Toto o Gentica, Hector Pedero, edero, Butch Elizal-zalde and Non-noy Mendoza. They went their separates ways anda embarked ono solo careersr in 1986, anda held their firstf reunion ini October last year.y

In celebration of her 35th year in the music industry, Kuh is writing a book on her music career, hoping to release it before the year ends. “Basically it has a lot of pictures of me includinginclud those whom I have worked with in the past. Kasama
din du’nd ’ yung (photo ng) isa kong painting,” she said. Kuh is in no hurry to finish the book because she wantsw it to be “gorgeous.” It will cover the time she joinedjo the band Ensalada, goinggo into her years with MusicMu & Magic until she becamebec a solo performer.
TheT book aims to put her personalperson milestones in a historical context,c Still, for Kuh, the highlight o of all her years in music are the other artists – stars, singers – she has worked with. Yet untitled, Kuh said the book, whose concept revolves around the number 35, will be her legacy that would hopefully inspire younger performers.
Aside from the book, Kuh will be mounting an exhibit of her paintings in March to mark her career milestone.
Thankful for the abundant blessings in life, Kuh is most grateful about her strong relationship with God. “I pray a lot. And when a door opens sa akin, talagang tinatanggap ko and I will be thankful to Him. Kasi wala namang mahirap sa Panginoon,” she said.
V-Day acts
The celebrated Filipina singer is happy about the increasing number of OPM concerts scheduled this Valentine’s season.
“Sana palaging ganito na kapag
February puro Filipino artist lang ang nagpe-perform. ’ Yung parang MMFF tuwing December na puro Filipino films lang,” she said.
According to a release, Kuh and the rest of Music & Magic band will be performing several current hits at their concert such as John Legend’s ”All Of Me,” Pharrell William’s “Happy” and “Let It Go” from the movie “Frozen.”
“The Music Of the Heart, The Magic of Love” will be held at The Theatre, Solaire Resort & Casino on Feb. 14. (With report from Bhenj Agustin)
