Comelec eliminates 39 party-list groups

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Friday delisted and canceled the registration of 39 party-list organiza- tions.

In Resolution No. 9932, the poll body cited the failure of the groups to obtain at least two percent of the votes cast for the party-list system as well as its failure to obtain a seat in the second round of seat allocation for the partylist system in the last two preceding elections as reasons.

The party- list organizations that are delisted and whose registrations are cancelled are as follows:

Guardians Nationalist of the Philippines ( 1GANAP / GUARDIANS 1), Alliance of Advocates in Mining Advancement for National Progress (AAMA), Ang Agrikultura Natin Isulong ( AANI), Alyansang Bayanihan ng mga Magsasaka, Manggagawang-Bukid at Mangingisda (ABA), Abante Katutubo, Inc. (ABANTE KA), Blessed Federation of Farmers and Fishermen International Inc. (A BLESSED Party-list), Alliance of Bicolnon Party (ABP-Bicolnon), Action Brotherhood for Active Dreamers, Inc. (ABROAD), Agrarian Development Association ( ADA), Adhikain ng mga Dakilang Anak Maharlika (ADAM), Alliance for Philippines Security Guards Cooperative (AFPSEGCO) Agila ng Katutubong Pinoy ( AGILA), Akap Bata Sectoral Organization for Children, Inc. (AKAP BATA), Aksyon Magsasaka- Partido Tinig ng Masa ( AKMA- PTM), Ako Ayoko sa Bawal na Droga, Inc. (AKO), Adhikain at Kilusan ng Ordinaryong Tao para sa Lupa, Pabahay, Hanapbuhay at Kaunlaran (AKO BAHAY), Action League of Indigenous Masses ( ALIM), Alyansa Lumad Mindanao (ALLUMAD), Alyansa ng OFW Party (ALYANSA NG OFW) and Alyansa ng Media at Showbiz (AMS).

Likewise delisted were Ang Ladlad LGBT Party (ANG LADLAD), Sectoral Party of Ang Minero (ANG MINERO), Association for Righteousness Advocacy in Leadership (ARAL), Alliance for Rural and Agrarian Reconstruction (ARARO), Alliance for Rural Concerns ( ARC) Abante Tribung Makabansa (ATM), Bayani (BAYANI), Firm 24-K Association, Inc.
