Bar exam results out on March 26

The Supreme Court (SC) is expected to come out with the results of the 2014 bar examinations on March 26.

Of the 6,344 law graduates who were accredited to take the examinations, only 5,994 examinees finished the exams on the first and second Sundays of October last year at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila.

It was not known immediately whether there were other drop outs on the third and fourth (the last day) Sundays of the examinations.

Eight law subjects are covered in the examinations that have been administered by the SC, under the law and by tradition, since 1900.

The chairman of the 2014 bar examinations committee is SC Justice Diosdado M. Peralta.
