Another body cemented in drum in Cavite

DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite — Barely a month after a burnt body was found cemented in a steel drum in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, another “salvage” (police term for summary execution) victim was found cemented in a plastic drum, this time, in Barangay Salawag, here.

The body of the still unidentified man, which was wrapped with blankets, had in his possession a paper note which read: “WAG NYO AKO TOTOLARAN, PUMAPATAY AKO NG POLICE.” ( Don’t emulate me, I kill police.)

Case investigators said the body in the plastic drum was found last Monday on Sta. Lucia Property Road in Barangay Salawag. Four bullet casings and slugs for a .45-caliber gun was also found in the area.

The victim, described as about 5’4” tall, 33 years old and of fair complexion, bore bullet wounds in the head and body hack wounds in the knee.

The victim’s body was brought to Alundog Funeral Homes for autopsy after the Scene of the Crime Operatives ( SoCO) led by Chief Inspector Rose Merino.
