Aid for Aetas

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – About 81 Aeta college students from towns of Floridablanca, Porac, and Mabalacat recently received P5,000 each of educational assistance from the provincial government. Pampanga Gov. Lilia Pineda said the distribution is part of the Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP) of the Provincial Capitol amounting to P405, 000. EFAP is one of the basic social services given to the underprivileged youth. Beth Baybayan, Provincial Social Welfare and Development chief, said that 14 of the scholars are expected to graduate this school year. (Franco G. Regala)
