School founder’s monument unveiled

LUCBAN, Quezon – Key officials here led by Mayor Celso Olivier Dator unveiled yesterday the monument of the latter’s grandfather, Hobart Dator Sr., the founder of Lucban Junior High School now known as Southern Luzon State University. Hobart Dator Sr. served as mayor of Lucban for 16 years, the longest in their town. The monument is placed at the entrance of the main building to serve as a reminder of his contribution in providing quality education to the lessprivileged students of the province and neighboring towns.
