7-year bonds fetch 3.45%

The Bureau of Treasury yesterday decided to reissue treasury bonds due March, 2021 at a slightly lower yield of 3.458%. Strong demand for the bond eased the yield. Bond prices rose as yields fall. Total tenders of the 25 billion offered reached

35.5 billion. The bond was originally issued last year as a seven-year debt paper with a coupon of 3.50%.(Dow Jones)
