Negros Cyber Center to generate 26K jobs
NEGROS OCCIDENTAL (PIA) – President Aquino said the multimillion-peso Negros First Cyber Center in Bacolod City which he inaugurated last April 30 could most likely generate 6,000 direct jobs and 20,000 indirect ones. Called Information Technology–Business Process Management hub (IT BPM), the facility-construction of which started in 2012 and was completed in 2014-stands on a two-hectare property along Lacson corner Hernaez streets in Bacolod City, the provincial capital. The building will house call centers at the Business Resource Center, a space to start-up IT companies and training center for IT-BPM like Technology Business Incubation Center, a research and development facility, creative studio, restaurants, banks, conference and exhibition halls.
