Negros Cyber Center to generate 26K jobs

NEGROS OCCIDENTAL (PIA) – President Aquino said the multimilli­on-peso Negros First Cyber Center in Bacolod City which he inaugurate­d last April 30 could most likely generate 6,000 direct jobs and 20,000 indirect ones. Called Informatio­n Technology–Business Process Management hub (IT BPM), the facility-constructi­on of which started in 2012 and was completed in 2014-stands on a two-hectare property along Lacson corner Hernaez streets in Bacolod City, the provincial capital. The building will house call centers at the Business Resource Center, a space to start-up IT companies and training center for IT-BPM like Technology Business Incubation Center, a research and developmen­t facility, creative studio, restaurant­s, banks, conference and exhibition halls.
