Binay in Quezon
BONDOC PENINSULA, Quezon – Vice President Jejomar C. Binay met with village leaders, senior citizens and ordinary folk during his visit to this province last Friday, oblivious to sustained and mounting allegations of corruption hurled at him. Binay skirted issues on such during his meetings with various groups, and instead bared the sisterhood agreement between Makati City and Quezon province, as well as his plans leading to the 2016 elections where he is the leading candidate, based on several surveys. Binay was accompanied by Quezon Governor David C. Suarez and Rep. Aleta C. Suarez in the towns in San Francisco, Mulanay and Catanauan, where medical equipment were distributed to beneficiaries. A boodle fight with members of various sectors was likewise held in the municipalities’ public markets. (Danny J. Estacio)
