‘Iloilo ♥ Guimaras’ campaign

ILOILO CITY – “Iloilo ♥ Guimaras,” a new tourism campaign, will further strengthen ties between the two provinces said the Department of Tourism-Region 6. According to DOT Regional Director Helen Catalbas, the tourism campaign aims to market tourism products, services, and attractions of Iloilo and Guimaras in a twinning mode. “The two provinces should help each other in promoting their tourism industry as Iloilo and Guimaras fall in the same Tourism Development Area No. 1 under the National Tourism Development Plan,” she said, adding that that Guimaras is just 15 to 20 minutes away from Metro Iloilo via pump boat so it will be easy to include it in the tourism circuit.
