Gawad Saka awards

KIDAPAWAN CITY – Four Cotabateños were recently awarded with the Gawad Saka Agri-Rice Achievers Awards of the Department of Agriculture (DA) at the DA-Research Outreach Station in Bololmala, Tupi town, South Cotabato. The awardees were Neil Henry of Midsayap, Young Farmer category; Dr. Romulo L. Cena of Kabacan, Agricultural Researcher category; Dr. Luz Taposok of Kabacan, Agricultural Scientist category; and Girlie Adug of Matalam, Sugarcane Commodity category. “We salute the four awardees for their achievements, which constituted the latest of almost a dozen of awards given to farming individuals and groups in our province for two years now,” Gov.
