Melindo vs Mendoza

Filipino challenger Milan Melindo is ready to rumble with Mexican defending champion Javier Mendoza in their International Boxing Federation (IBF) light-flyweight (108 lbs) title match Saturday night (Sunday in Manila) in Ensenada, Mexico.

Melindo (32-1-0 with 12 KOs) and Mendoza (23-2-1 with 19 KOs) both tipped the scales at 107.2 lbs and expressed readiness to treat the crowd to a night of fistic fireworks.
