Michelle Loterte won three more gold medals to lead University of Santo Tomas’ expected dominance in athletics after three days of competitions in the Luzon qualifying leg of the Philippine National Games.

The bronze medalist in last year’s ASEAN University Games began the day by ruling the 400-m hurdles in one minute and 8.61 seconds before making a leap of 11.50 meters to rule the triple jump event.

She capped her glorious day with a victory in the 200-m by clocking 26.75 seconds.

Loterte earlier triumphed in the 100m hurdles and 4x100m relay events on Sunday, helping UST win 19 golds on the track oval.

Louielyn Pamatian, who reigned in the 400m and 800m for UST the other day, snared her third gold after topping the girls’ 1500m in 4:50.81, while Karen Janario and Riza Faith Sombilla won their respective second gold medals in the girls’ 200m (25.63sec) and the women’s javelin throw (34.50m).
