DAET, Camarines Norte — A 39year-old man was arrested last Saturday for alleged possession of illegal drugs, firearms and ammunitions at his house in this city, the Police Provincial Office (PPO) director reported yesterday. Senior Superintendent Harris Fama said a team composed of police operatives and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents swooped down on the residence of Don Niño Pado in Purok 1, Barangay Magang, and found several plastic sachets of “shabu” and marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a .22-caliber handgun, and assorted bullets.
