Road hazards

URDANETA CITY, Pangasinan — Clearing the road of debris brought about by recent monsoon rains have been hampered by the trees right in the middle of the national highway between Sta. Barabara town and this city. It will be recalled that the trees have been protected from being cut even if it stands right in the middle of the national highway. Engineer Narchito Arpilleda, Department of Public Works and Highways spokesman for the Pangasinan 3rd Engineering District, said the trees are even a road hazard in bad weather. (Liezle Basa Iñigo)
