Motorcycle rider dies in self-accident in Cavite

BACOOR CITY, Cavite – An electrician died when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving along Molino Boulevard in Barangay Bayanan, here, last Saturday.

Police investigation showed that victim Jaypee Bayer Castillo, 26, was on his way home driving along the dark boulevard about 12:45 a.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle that slid on the road. His head and body hit the gutter.

The victim suffered severe head injuries and was declared dead on arrival at the Saint Michael Hospital in Molino.

Castillo’s father told police that his son came from a drinking party with friends.

Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) reports showed that vehicular accidents and crime incidents frequently occur along Molino Boulevard due to the lack of lamp posts. (Anthony Giron)
