Stars gush over Ariana Grande
As reported, local celebrities flocked to the Mall Of Asia Arena to watch Ariana’s concert last Sunday.
Like regular folks, they screamed their hearts out as Ariana sang and danced, obviously enjoying every minute of the concert.
Liza Soberano even took to Instagram to share, “I just have to say by far this is my most favorite concert ever!!! I love Ariana so much. She is the right mixture of sugar, spice and everything nice we all look for in our idols. Believe it or not I got to meet her and she gave me a big hug and complemented my studded cat ears. I didn’t know what to say to her. I just said I love you and went on with the picture taking. After two hours of me and Darren thinking about what we were gonna say to Ari! Well at least I got to hug her and I probably won’t wash the clothes I wore ever, haha, just kidding (Not!). Okay, im just one happy girl right now. Thank you Ari for coming to the Philippines.”
Julia Barretto on the other hand, tweeted how she finds AG (Araina Grande) so sassy.
Darren Espanto on his part, related how he was already at the venue three hours prior to start. I also saw Christine Babao, Sunshine Cruz and Carmina Villaroel with their respective children.
The concert was a blast. Ariana came out wearing a white outfit that reminded me of the granny panties I used to wear. Unlike mine however, Ariana’s was studded with Swarovski stones.
I thought to myself, “This girl is so hot! If I wore something similar during a performance, my producers will probably have me sent to a mental hospital.”
She’s not all looks, though. Ariana’s voice was impeccable as with her dance moves.
Starting the whole proceedings was DJ Tom Taus.
Even during his set, the girls were screaming their lungs out but more so when Ariana finally appeared on stage, for her rousing opening number.
It was nice that after a few songs, she also did a mash-up of “I’m Every Woman” and “Vogue,” which got me dancing and screaming.
Some of the kids there might have deemed me too old to be rocking out to Ariana, but no matter – I paid P20, 0000 to be in there so I thought I might as well have fun.
