Mother Lily notches another milestone

Showbiz personalit­ies spotted at the party held at Mother Lily’s own Valencia Events Place were Carla Abellana,German Moreno, Annabelle Rama, Karylle, Kiray, Joel Lamangan, Joey Reyes, Jun Lana, Perci Intalan, Joey Romero, Maryo J. Delos Reyes, Mel Chionglo, Erik Matti, Manny Castañeda and Manny Valera.

Two of Philippine television’s most notable figures, Viva Communicat­ions, Inc. and Cignal TV have joined forces to create Sari-Sari, a 24/7 channel that will bring the finest movies and television­dramas to Cignal TV audiences both here and abroad.

Vic del Rosario, Jr. Viva Communicat­ions’ Chairman & CEO, and Vincent del Rosario III, Viva Communicat­ions’ President & COO, signed recently the contract with MediaQuest Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, Cignal TV President & CEO Emmanuel C. Lorenzana, and Cignal TV COO Oscar A. Reyes, Jr.

Set to be launched later this year, SariSari Channel will also feature original films and mini-series that Viva will produce.

An industry stalwart, Viva will bring its much vaunted production expertise to interestin­g titles such as “Class 3-C Has a Secret, “Barrio Kulimlim,” “Kuya and Me,” “Sa Ngalan ng Anak,” “Tabi Po,” “The Feb. 15 Club” and many more.

Viva is also bringing to Cignal TV its stable of talents that include some of today’s biggest and hottest stars, directors and writers.

“Homeless,” the latest advocacy film of Baby Go, is now showing in selected cinemas nationwide. Directed by Neal “Buboy” Tan, the film stars among others Ejay Falcon, Martin del Rosario, Ynna Asistio, Snooky Serna, Dimples Romana, Hayden Kho and Baby Go in a cameo role.

“Homeless,” which is about street children and victims of calamities, was partly filmed in Cambodia.
