JM related, “Kung wala si Jessy (wala ako ngayon dito)… kasi, before nu’ng nagsa-start pa lang po ulit ako, siya ’yung nagpu-push sa’kin na, ‘Kaya mo pa ’yan’.”
He maintained their relationship is stronger than ever. “Dati mas naka-focus kami sa baka mawalan kami ng trabaho... ngayon, meron na kaming pinapahalagahan at iniingatan na intimate. Binibigyan namin ng importansiya ’yun. Kumbaga nag-mature na, parang ganu’n.”

The actor will soon be seen on TV via the afternoon series “All Of Me,” which he described as “sobrang relatable ’yung kwento sa love story namin ni Jessy.” It tells the story of Manuel, an older guy portrayed by Albert Martinez, falling in love with Lena, a young woman, played by Yen Santos.
Manuel will stumble upon a magic portal that will help transform him to a younger version of himself, portrayed by JM.
“Talagang kahit lalaki kikiligin eh,” said JM of the series.
He noted the characters are “sobrang nakakakilig din.”
“’Yung love nila na ’yun, ang daming limitations, mapa-pisikal man, oras, o ano man pero makikita mo pa din ’yung love nila talaga,”
JM explained.
Happy as he is for a second chance to prove his mettle as actor, JM admitted he still worries over the possibility of losing his perspective all over again.
“Honestly nawawala ako kung minsan sa dapat kong i-focus. Minsan kinakain ako ng pressure, takot akong magkamali,
parang I’m being too hard on myself, ganu’n,” said he. He aims to stay strong, however. “Nasa sa akin naman kasi ’yun, sa pag-handle ko. Kailangan panghawakan ko ’yung sarili ko,” he said.
“Para ma-prove ko rin naman sa sarili ko at sa mga magiging anak ko na hindi ako bumagsak lang, at na bumangon din
ako,” he added. He also wants to honor God, noting, “Binigay niya sa’kin ’to. Wala na ’to dapat pero binigay Niya pa din sa’kin.”
“All of Me” will air Aug. 31 on ABSCBN Kapamilya Gold.
