More than 14,000 Narcotic plants destroyed

TIRANA (PNA/Xinhua) - The Albanian state police said Monday that more than 14,000 cannabis roots were destroyed during the operations undertaken last weekend across Albania. According to a press statement, 12,139 cannabis roots destroyed were located in 75 parcels in nine different areas. Meanwhile in a parallel operation, police destroyed 1,319 cannabis plants. Some other 515 cannabis roots were found in the villages of Kucova and Skrapar.
