6 women feted on Baguio Day

BAGUIO CITY — Six women who rendered exemplary service in their fields of expertise will be awarded today as the “Outstanding Citizens of Baguio” in celebration of this city’s 105th charter day. The Society of Outstanding Citizens of Baguio (SOCOB) that conducts the annual search for the city government has chosen Basilisa Cachero-Pimentel for arts and culture; Dona Digna Salvador Rosario, professional/community service; Lilia Ronquillo Bautista, business; Dr. Leonarda RomasantaAguinalde, community service; Epifania Cabanban-Dao-ey, community service; and Maria Nela Bascos-Florendo, professional/arts and culture after a tedious selection and judging process.
