Boy-robber falls

PANIQUI, Tarlac — Police reported yesterday that after more than a month of painstaking investigation and monitoring, they finally solved the robbery of the ex-mayor’s house here. Superintendent Salvador Destura Jr., identified the suspect as an alias “RVG,” a 17-year-old who was arrested for involvement in another robbery last week. During interrogation by police, the boy allegedly admitted having looted the house of former mayor Elpidio Ibarra of various jewelry pieces and a customized pistol, said Destura. (Mar T. Supnad)
