Lake community unveils 2-hectare clubhouse
The presence of a lake in a residential community is a welcome opportunity for families to enjoy life to the fullest. In Iloilo City, Sta. Lucia’s Green Meadows is the only masterplanned lake community that gives residents a generous amount of space for recreation.
The man-made, six-hectare Lake Victoria is the centerpiece of this 80-hectare development, and with the recent opening of its membersonly country club, families will be able to enjoy an even more leisurely experience.
The Green Meadows country club spans two hectares, which includes amenities and facilities such as a basketball court, a covered badminton court, a tenpin bowling center, and a free-form swimming pool with twin water slides. “We wanted to offer a variety of amenities that members of all ages can enjoy,” said Ed Tirona, president of Orchard Property Marketing Corp. (OPMC), the official marketing arm of Sta. Lucia for the Green Meadows development.
Green Meadows features a landscaped entrance gate, wide concrete road network, complete electrical facilities, and a centralized water distribution system — all the modern conveniences needed for an easy and stress-free living in the emerging tourism and commercial center of Iloilo.
As a premiere community, Green Meadows encourages freedom of space. Available lot sizes range from 120 sqm to 200 sqm in The Grove and The Palms phases. House and lot packages are also available for those who wish to move into the community and enjoy its benefits.

In the middle of the lake sits an island dubbed The Peninsula, which houses a swimming pool, a children’s playground, a gazebo and picnic shed, as well as an eight-story lighthouse with an observation deck that provides a 360-degree view of the entire subdivision.
In terms of accessibility, Green Meadows boasts of prime location within Iloilo City, straddling two municipalities. The Grove is located in Barangay Tacas, Jaro while The Palms is located in Barangay Unka I, Pavia.
