Breville PH bags bronze medal

In the recently held Philippine Culinary Cup 2015, Breville Ambassador Chef Louise Mabulo took home a bronze medal for the Creative Breakfast category with her dish consisting of dried home-made Spanish-style sardines, cheesy rice croquettes, salad with kesongputi and coconut vinaigrett­e.

The Philippine Culinary Cup is the only competitio­n of its kind in the country to be endorsed by the World Associatio­n of Chefs Societies (WACS). This endorsemen­t comes with the uppermost competitio­n standards and procedures. WACS accredited local and foreign judges enhanced the worldwide appeal and prestige to this event. PCC has held in partnershi­p with LTB Chefs Associatio­n Philippine­s and the Pastry Alliance of the Philippine­s.

Breville®fielded a team to compete in five categories, mainly: US Beef - Chef Emman Galvez, Local Fish/Seafood - Chef Trish Azada, Fantasy Desserts - Chef Gerald Aguillon, Creative Breakfast - Chef Louise Mabulo and Filipino Cuisine Chef Emman, Chef Trish & Chef Louise.

The team went through rigorous training under the supervisio­n of Breville®brand ambassador­s Chef Philip John Golding and Chef Edward David Mateo, along with Chef Ian Padilla This event provided Breville’s chefs an internatio­nal spotlight to highlight their creative skills and talents in the culinary field.
