Get HOOQ in movies

-

Streaming movies has become a huge hit that it’s becoming an important part of home entertainment in other countries. We haven’t had such services until recently, starting with our own HOOQ. It’s a movie streaming service that can be downloaded for mobile devices. It is an opportunity to discover movies and TV series, both local and international.

HOOQ has a decently sized library. You can expect most of the modern blockbusters are there. They have TV series such as Castle, and classic sitcoms like Friends and The Nanny. This goes for local too shows too from both ABS and GMA. For cultural diversity, HOOQ has a list of Korean, Thai, and Bollywood content too. They have an expanding list of local indie movies, much of it featured in the annual Cinemalaya. In all, HOOQ lays claim to have over 1,200 titles from Hollywood alone, and about 10,000 video content from Asian countries. They will be updating their library by adding at least 2 or 3 movies a month.

They have a simple and straightforward interface where the most watched shows are displayed on screen. From there it’s a simple swipe here and there to get around. Of course, there is a registration required in order to use the services – it costs 149 every 30 days, and users get access to HOOQ’s video library. Payment can be done through credit card and

Up to five users can access a single account. Also, users can download up to five movies to watch during offline. These five are shared among the five accounts. It’s important to remember that these downloaded movies can only be viewed while HOOQ services are enabled. It’s a way to protect the content from being pirated.

HOOQ is being worked around to be a gateway of creative content as original HOOQ content are being considered but no definite plans
