COTABATO CITY – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Tuesday conducted an assessment of the delivery of child welfare services of the local government units (LGUs) in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), dubbed as “Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA).” Lawyer Anwar Malang, DILG-ARMM secretary, said the CFLGA is a results-based assessment tool and a mandatory audit designed to identify interventions made by the LGUs in advancing the well-being of children and the youth. The DILGARMM validated the results of the assessment last September 9 to 11 with the region’s Department of Social Welfare and Development, Regional Planning and Development Office (RPDO), Department of Education and Department of Labor and Employment.
