Supply chain conference opens today
Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP) is mounting its “2015 Supply Chain Conference & Exhibit” today until tomorrow Sept. 18, to be held at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel.
The association believes that the stakeholders are more aware of the supply chain issues, a rare positive offshoot of the massive port congestion that adversely affected the business community and the Philippine economy from last year up to early this year. Out of this awareness, there are more collaborative efforts between the private and public sectors to improve on the areas that hinder the free flow of goods in the economy.
Thus, the conference objectives are to inform, educate, and develop the supply chain professionals and to grow the supply chain management practice in the Philippine setting to world class standards.
There will also be several inter-active activities and exhibits as to the progress of supply chain in the Philippines.
