Bulacan’s No. 1 drug suspect slain

NORZAGARAY, Bulacan — Police scored big yesterday with the neutralization of the No. 1 drug trafficking suspect in this province, who was killed along with his three alleged cohorts in a shootout in Barangay Minuyan, here, before noon yesterday. Supt. Joel Estaris, chief of police, identified the slain suspects only by their aliases “Sati,” the No. 1 drugs target of police; and his cohorts alias “Lotlot,” alias “Dindo;” and alias “Deck.” Estaris said the operation to arrest the suspects, undertaken by police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents, led to a gun battle.
