Green­ing Tanay


AN­TIPOLO CITY, Rizal — Pro­vin­cial gov­ern­ment of­fi­cials and per­son­nel will lead Satur­day’s big­gest green­ing ac­tiv­ity for the year at a gov­ern­ment prop­erty in Tanay in time for the cel­e­bra­tion of the Capi­tol’s proen­vi­ron­ment pro­gram. Rizal Gover­nor Re­becca “Nini” Ynares said more than 8,000 seedlings will be planted by the pro­vin­cial gov­ern­ment em­ploy­ees, lo­cal gov­ern­ment ex­ec­u­tives and pri­vate groups in­clud­ing mem­bers of the academe and other pri­vate com­pa­nies based in the province to celebrate the sec­ond year of the launch­ing of Ynares to Eco-Sys­tem (YES) To Green Pro­gram, which is the lead­ing pro-en­vi­ron­ment pro­ject of the capi­tol.
