R1-M bounty for Enzo slay suspects

- By FRANCIS T. WAKEFIELD

The parents of slain international race car driver Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor has offered a 1-million bounty to anyone who could give information on the whereabouts of estranged daughter-in-law Dahlia Oosthuizen Guerrero and her alleged lover, businessman Domingo “Sandy” de Guzman.

In a press briefing in Quezon City yesterday, Enzo’s parents Tom and Remy Pastor, expressed belief that offering a bounty would lead to the apprehension of the two suspects, who both have warrants for their arrest.

A Quezon City court earlier issued a warrant of arrest against De Guzman and a hold departure order (HDO) against Dahlia for their alleged involvement in the killing of Enzo on June 12, 2014.

De Guzman is facing murder charges while Dahlia is being charged with parricide for the fatal shooting of the international race car driver before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 85.

The elder Pastor said the 1-million bounty was also in response to the advice of their lawyers.

“Normally, if there is a warrant, the suspects flee. We are offering a 1-million bounty because we believe that this could help in their immediate arrest,” Tom said.

He said he believes that De Guzman is still in the country while Dahlia is hiding in an Asian country.

Chief Inspector Rodel Marcelo, the chief of the Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, said the Interpol (International Police) recently issued a “red notice” for Dahlia after intelligence reports indicated that she has already fled the country.
