NU cagebelles stay undefeated

Reigning MVP Afril Bernardino delivered a double-double effort as defending champion National University (NU) overwhelmed University of Santo Tomas , 71-45, to stretch its winning run to 19 games in the UAAP women’s basketball tournament at the Blue Eagle gym.

Bernardino had 12 points and 12 rebounds aside from dishing out six assists as the Lady Bulldogs overcame a sluggish first half to improve to 3-0 this season.

Not to be outdone, Adamson also claimed its third win with a 57-49 victory over University of the East.
