European brand Miele recently introduced its latest series of elegant and innovative home appliances that are sure to make modern living easier and more enjoyable.

The much-awaited launch was held at the new and first-ever exclusive Miele Gallery in the Philippines located at The Residences at Greenbelt in Makati City.

Collectively called Generation 6000 Series, it is composed of kitchen equipment that combines sleek styling and state-of-the art technology that are the hallmarks of the 116-year old brand. It is not just about aesthetics because the true beauty of Miele’s latest appliances brings to the fore the design principle, “form follows function.”

The latest Miele series allows homeowners to explore the joy of cooking with new generation convection ovens, steam ovens, combi-steam ovens, coffee machines, microwave ovens and gourmet warming drawers. Each product is meticulously designed for unprecedented performance and convenience allowing even kitchen newbies to elevate their culinary skills at the touch of a button or a swipe on a screen on an intuitive user interface. Innovative, high-tech features

Anticipating the needs of customers even before they ask for it gives Miele an edge over its toughest rivals. The company solves everyday problems by looking around and figuring out how to do things that would bring efficiency and improve user experience.

Among the features of the Generation 6000 kitchen appliances are the exclusive MoisturePlus and MultiSteam technologies. The addition of moisture improves results when proofing dough, giving loaves of bread a crisp crust and glossy finish and making cuts of meat particularly crisp on the outside and succulent inside. Generation 6000 Steam and Combi-Steam Ovens are equipped with MultiSteam technology, a revolutionary external steam generation system that injects steam into the oven cavity only when the correct temperature is reached. The fast and even distribution of steam results in perfectly cooked food that retains most of its nutrients, color and texture. The MultiSteam technology likewise ensures that the smell and taste

of food do not mix between trays by letting steam escape in intervals to give way to fresh new steam all the time.

Navigating through the Gen 6000 appliances is easier than ever because of yet another innovative feature, the M Touch. Reminiscent of smart phones and tablets, M Touch is an intuitive interface that allows users to swipe or scroll through the menu with the tip of a finger. Miele eliminates the guess work. It’s simple, convenient and accurate.

Miele likewise introduced the Generation 6000 Coffee Machines, which, apart from the Fully Automatic Programs that Miele users love, includes a new CupSensor, EasyClick Milk System and One Touch for Two features. Exclusive to Miele, the CupSensor automatically adjusts the height of the spout for different cup and glass sizes. It even reacts precisely to beverages made with milk by raising the spout slightly to make room for the incoming froth. The EasyClick milk system, meanwhile, is a dishwasher safe glass milk flask that effortlessly clicks into place at the front of the machine while the One Touch for Two feature allows the user to prepare two cups of a coffee specialties such as cappuccino or latte macchiato at the same time.

The same seamless kitchen integration is possible for the Generation 6000 series, which now comes in a Brilliant White option. The exterior design of the fascia panel of the appliances may be integrated into any kitchen or lifestyle. Whether appliances are installed Tower, Panorama, CubiQ or in a T-shape configuration, the kitchen design is not compromised.

Cooker hoods (island, wall, concealed and Varia) are also well represented at the Miele Gallery. Ms. Margarita Fores of Casa Artusi

As the highlight of the launch, Ms. Margarita Fores held a cooking demo at the Miele Gallery’s active kitchen using the Miele 6000 series in preparing some of her signature Italian dishes such as Bruschetta Duet, Pollo Arrosto Limone, Rigatoni Pasta with light cream sauce. Her culinary expertise was enhanced by the impressive user-friendly appliances, with which she was able to prepare her delightful gourmet creations in less time and with less fuss. Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers at The Miele Gallery

Aside from kitchen appliances, the Miele Gallery also has a laundry section that showcases a special artifact from Miele - an actual water-powered washing machine from 1910 to the 1960s. (Miele created the framework for one of the world’s first washing machines in 1901). This is displayed side by side with the latest washer and dryer that use the honeycomb technology that takes ultimate care of the most delicate clothes.

The Miele Gallery likewise features the handle-less Knock to Open Dishwasher that opens with two knocks. This equipment is fully integrated with the design of the kitchen, achieving a total seamless look. It comes with light indicators that tell the user how many minutes are left in the washing process.
