TAKE THE LEAP

-

Amix of local and international teaching techniques, The Great Leap Academy located at Brgy. Holy Spirit Drive, Quezon City is a sanctuary of sorts when it comes to early childhood education. Inspired from multiple learning disciplines, the Great Leap Academy is a first of its kind in the country, implementing quality play-based, interestbased, and literacy-based programs that are holistic in nature, and are scientifically proven to finely hone a child’s development.

At The Great Leap, most of the programs and curricula are internationally acquired and relevant for the modern times. The center also integrates an out of the box teaching style, and serves as an venue for homeschoolers and afterschoolers to meet new friends in a fun, safe, and age-appropriate facility. Apart from its unique structure, the participation of parents or guardians is highly encouraged, which effectively taps all of the child’s domains of development: physical, cognitive, social, and emotional.

As an enrichment school, its structure allows a child to focus on a particular subject or program based on his/ her area of weakness or interest conveniently offered in one location. The academy’s roster of acclaimed international programs include: Music Together, Mighty Math, Mighty Science, iKids Mental Arithmetic, and minor programs like Meet the Art Masters, Little Ballet, Lit Kitchen, Ready Steady Go, Mandarin Immersion, and Helen O’ Grady Drama Academy Philippines. The abovementioned international programs were franchised in the US, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, and are all currently an exclusive offer at the Academy.

“We are happy to pioneer this modern and practical approach to teaching in the Philippines which specifically addresses the child’s unique needs and interests. This method took us a while to embrace, but we’re confident that now is the right time to fully integrate after school support programs for kinder to Grade 8; programs that require children to touch, try, and to think creatively”, says The Great Leap Academy executive director and music teacher Roqzanne Tan.
