Hannah’s beach resort named 2015 Most Outstanding Tourist Destination in PH

For the second time, Hannah’s Beach Resort & Convention Center has been named by Gawad Amerika Foundation as 2015 Most Outstanding Tourist Destination in the Philippines.

In a letter addressed to the owner, retired PAF Col. Ricardo Nolasco, Gawad Amerika Foundation founding president and CEO Charles Simbulan cited the resort’s continued success and achievements as a tourist destination as basis for the much coveted award.

“I’m happy that our efforts to help promote tourism in Ilocos Norte have been recognized by such a prestigious entity like Gawad Amerika Foundation. The award will make us even more diligent and dedicated in our programs to promote Hannah’s Beach Resort in particular and Ilocos Norte in general in the field of local tourism,” Nolasco said.

In addition, Hannah's Beach Resort and Convention Center has also been cited by the prestigious FCCA for being the number one destination in the Philippines for local and foreign tourists alike.

Back in the year 2000 through the invitation of a friend, Nolasco acquired a small parcel of land in Barangay Balaoi, Pagudpod Ilocos Norte, to put up a rest house for his family, a simple place where they could spend quiet and relaxing weekends away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Situated at the foot of verdant hills and mountains right in front of the famous blue lagoon, the place was perfect and each member of his family instantly fell in love with it. The fresh seafoods and the local dishes that easily turned each meal into a gastronomic feasts, the peaceful neighborhood, and the friendly people came as a very pleasant bonus. Every time spent and every experience that they had were always exciting, something each of them could not keep to themselves and could not help but share how wonderful and fascinating it is to everyone.

Soon enough and without them realizing, all of their relatives and friends were already demanding that they share the hidden tropical paradise they found in Pagudpod. There were also countless times that they were swamped with public clamor for accommodations and facilities from tourists in the area especially during the summer time.

Growth and development became inevitable and as they say, the rest is now a history, the birth of Hannah's Beach Resort.
