CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Chief Supt. Rudy Lacadin, Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director, warned policemen who are in cahoots with drug pushers that they will be sacked and will face other punitive sanctions.

Known for his being a disciplinarian, Lacadin also offered cash rewards to policemen who could neutralize criminals and crooked policemen, saying “I am even offering cash money and guns to my policemen who could kill a notorious policemen in a legitimate shootout.”

In Tarlac City, Supt. Felix Verbo Jr., chief of police, led the city’s police in rounding up 16 suspected drug addicts and pushers, two of them village watchmen, in a raid of 12 houses in Barangay Sto. Cristo, recently.

A total of 38 sachets of “shabu,” a plastic sachet of marijuana, a digital micro weighing scale and various drug paraphernalia were seized.

Verbo said Carlito Macapinlac was the arrested chief of the barangay watchman in Sto. Cristo and that the digital micro weighing scale was seized from another watchman, Dennis Macapinlac.

“We are giving clear message to the drug pushers and users that they must fear the law because we (police) are serious to put them all to jail”, said Verbo.
