WB-assisted project tour
TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte – Delegates from West Bengal, India, Mongolia and other Asian countries who were part of a study tour on Wednesday visited a World Bank (WB)-assisted road project implemented by the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) and the local government in Panabo City, Davao del Norte. The WB delegates, led by Carolina Figueroa Geron, and the study tour group, headed by Soumya Purkait, the Joint Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, visited the on-going rehabilitation of the 8.2-kilometer Little PanayKatipunan-Kasilak farm to market road. Davao del Norte Governor Rodolfo del Rosario welcomed Geron and the group at the provincial capitol here where a presentation on the updates of the PRDP projects in the province was facilitated.
