Gun-for-hire suspect falls

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A suspected member of a gun-for-hire group who is wanted for murder in Pasig City was arrested by Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operatives the other day in Barangay Santor, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija. Senior Superintendent Benjamin Silo, Jr., CIDG-Region 3 chief, said Pedrito Viray Tomas, 68, yielded a shotgun during his arrest at his house. An alleged member of the “Ric Peralta Gun-for-Hire Group,” Tomas is wanted for murder in Pasig and illegal possession of firearms in Cabanatuan City. (Mar T. Supnad)
