Grace and Bongbong in Pangasinan today

DAGUPAN CITY – Northern Luzon is expecting to churn out huge votes for independen­t presidenti­al candidate Grace Poe and the Solid North’s favorite son, Sen. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr who will barnstorm the vote rich province of Pangasinan on the 4th day of campaign period.

Several mayors of Pangasinan who refused to be identified said Marcos will win the hearts of Pangasinen­ses on election day.

"Noong mga panahon nasa 80 porsyento hanggang 90 porsyento ang nakukuhang boto kaya tiyak na ang panalo niya dito,” the mayors told Manila Bulletin.

Poe, they added will likewise get the support of Pangasinen­ses.

"Kinikilala nito ang Pangasinan bilang kaniyang probinsiya kaya proud ang mga tao sa kaniya lalo na maraming nagmamahal sa kanyang ama na si Fernando Poe," the mayors added. Poe’s adoptive father, the King of Philippine­s movies is from Pangasinan.

Earlier, a group of farmers endorsed Poe’s candidacy being the only candidates who has a platform for the agricultur­e sector.

Poe is expected to visit the University of Luzon and University of Pangasinan both in Dagupan City and stage a campaign rally at San Carlos City, Pangasinan where the relatives of FPJ reside.

Party list Rep. Jonathan Dela Cruz said Marcos will address big groups in Lingayen, San Carlos and Urdaneta City.
