-

Globe Telecom has recently announced being the first and exclusive partner of Canvas in the Philippines.

Canvas is a cloudbased software service that enables users to collect information using mobile devices, share that information, and integrate with existing backend systems. Canvas features the first mobile business application store of its kind. The software is designed for swifter business processes for enterprise and small-medium businesses (SMBs).

“As you will know, a lot of forms are being used in different forms or fashion,” said Michael Frausing, Senior Advisor, Enterprise and IT Enabled Services Group.

“A n d just the inefficiency in these forms, things tend to get lost now and then, what we’re doing here, is making sure that everything is tracked and to follow a certain process and a certain flow so you know exactly where the form is, has been signed off, or is working its way through the process,” he added.

“Canvas is a self-served doit-yourself platform that allows you to take any work process and automate that using your phone,” said James Quigley, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Canvas.

Canvas is being used in 70 different countries, focused on automating work processes for it to be simpler and faster. They have offices in Singapore, London, Sydney, with a headquarters located outside Washington DC.

The Canvas app is customizable and can be incorporated with phone features such as GPS, image capture, dispatch, bar code scanning, electronic signatures, push notifications, and access to business data such as catalogs, price lists, patient records, and so on.

Canvas eliminates paperwork, which helps organizing data and faster sharing.

Business customers will be able to leverage on Canvas’s cloud-based service and mobile business app store, which currently has more than 14,000 apps that ranges from inspection forms to work orders and checklists.

The Canvas business solution app can be downloaded on Android, iOS, and Windows devices.
